In accordance with an understanding with Britain, Russian troops iu Trans-Caucasia are crossing the frontier of Persia to re-establish order in the province of Azerbijan, in the northwest of Persia. After quelling the disturbance the troops are to retire. Whether the troops will go as far as Tabriz (the capital of the province and the stronghold of the revolutionary parly in Persia) depends on the advices of the Russian Consul-General at the town.
