GOVERNMENT RETURNED. Ottawa, October 27. The returns for the general elections arc not yet complete, but those received sliow that Sir Wilfrid Laurier's Government is returned with a decreased following. On the eve of the election, Mr. Murphy, the new Secretary of State, issued an order that employees of the Government Printing Bureau should 'hereafter receive a fortnight's holiday annually. The Conservatives were incensed at this move and accused Mr. Murphy of unblushing bribery. London, October 27. Eeuter's agent at Ottawa reports that Sir W. Laurier will have a majority of (30 instead of his previous majority c.f (id. . Sir W. Laurier and Sir F. W. Borden were each elected for two seats.
