IULLED BY A MOTOR-CAR. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Feilding, Last Night. Late to-night a man was knockel down by a motor-car at Sandon and killed. No particulars are yet available. At the inquest concerning the death of the young man James Weir, residiug in Cambridge-Street, Linwood, who committed suicide by cutting his throat on Sunday night, held at the morgue tcnight, theTTagistrate said tlie act was a most unaccountable one: lie returned a verdict that Weir had committed suicide by cutting his throat with a razor, but there was no reason to account for the act.
