THE .GRADE COMPETITIONS. TV.v-!-.' - 1 " !.30 p.m. jAumurne, October 24. Great interest was taken in the A grade contests at the Ballarat Band Contest. First honors went to the Collingwood (Victoria) Band, Newton (Now (South Wales) second and Ballarat City third. Kuikorai had to be content wit 1 ) sixth place, the laverll and Front's (Ballarat) bands filling fourth and fifth places respectively.
