THE DEMOCRATS' CHANCES. New York, October 23. Mr. Bryan has large hopes of receiving two million votes of German-Ameri-cans since the Democrats are more inclined than the Republicans to reduce the Customs rates against foreign countries. It is also stated that the quarter of a million Italians in \ho country will vole largely in favor of Mr. Bryan.
