JAPANS HEARTY WELCOME. - MIKADO AND PRESIDENT. Received 21 11,.10 p.m. New York, October 21. The New York Times says Japan has outdone our kinsfolk in New Zealand and Australia in the heartiness of her welcome. The Mikado, through Admiral Sperry, assured President Roosevelt of his goodwill, and thanked him for affording the Japanese an opportunity of giving new proof of their attachment to the Americans.
