Latest reports state ITQat the fire has been beaten back and is practically fal hand, hut the gas is very had. The work of subduing the fire is conducted with great difficulty. The figWers were rapeatedlv overcome by the fumes. One of them '(Eddy) was missing. He was rescued in an unconscious condition. Heroic efforts were made to reach the place where Eddy was stationed, but the gas drove the rescuers back.
