A man named J. Thomas, of Inglewood. was admitted to tlic New Plymouth Hospital on Tuesday .suffering from severe injuries caused'by a saw" mill truck running over his arm. It appears that he was on a log-laden truck, endeavoring t 0 steady its pace, when he fell off, and the truck passed over his left arm, severely lacerating the flesh' and muscles, and breaking the bone of the forearm.
