CONFERENCE IX NELSON. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Nelson. Last Night. The New Zealand Baptist Conference opened to-day. Between -30 and 00 delegates were present. The Rev-?. Kempton, Laird. Archer mid -1 ones were received as ministerial members and heartily welcomed by the residents amidst applause. The' Hamilton. Richmond (Auckland), and Gisborne new churches Were received into the Union. At the afternoon meeting an excellent address was given by Rev. W. Lamb on praMe. There was a large attendance in the' evening, whoa Rev. F. G. Buckingham (the president) delivered a masterly address respecting the Maptist Church.'
