By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. At the Anglican Synod to-day (he Kev. E. C. Budd, referring to the position of the home mission clergy, said that many were receiving only £l5O a year, which was equal to the wage paid to ordinary laborers. He made a plea for increased stipends. The stipend ot Bishop Neligan was increased from £BSO to £IOOO a year. At the evening sitting of the Anglican Synod, a motioi iras carried expressing the hope 'that practical effect mill be given in Auckland to the resolutions passed at the Lambeth Conference affirming the desirablity of co-op-eration between the various Churches with a view to unity.
