NEW STEAMERS LAUNCHED.
London, October 12. The Peninsular and Oriental steamer Maliva lias been launched at the Clyde. Howard Smith's Emmeralla has 'been launched. The Kinghorn Company's new Australian mail steamers are making good progress. The first will be launched ia November. Some wi.. nc ready to begin service on the expiry of tllo itoyal Mail contract in May.
