THE MOTOR HOG.
By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night, last motoring in Wellington was the subject of some remarks at a Chamber sitting the Supreme Court presided over by Sir Robert Stout, Chiex Justice, this morning. His Honor said that lie thought motor people should be on the look-out and more careful than they seemed to be at present, otherwise there would be a dreadful accident one of these days. Only the other day he saw a. motor-car coming along Lambton Quay, where there were numerous footpassengers ami also a rank of cabs, and he was sure that the car was travelling at more than fifteen miles an hour. It , was just opposite Kirkealdie and Stains'. One man and a little child were as nearly as possible nm over, llis Honor thought there should be .some bv-laws aflccting this question, or there would be serious trouble some day. He was perfectly nniazed at the pace the man was driving at, 'but he nrust add the driver must have iteen a very expert man, for although | )( . was driving at a high rati; of speed, lie went through t.lie trallic without touching anyone just as though he were handling a shin' fitly miles oil the land.
