CONTEST IN ITALY. Received 211, 12.55 p.m. Home, September 28. The Marathon race organised at Milan by the newspaper "II ltecolo" attracted'eight hundred entries, but thei doctors would not allow three hundred of these to compete. Hosi, a Milanese youth, won in 54min Osec. Dorando refused to have anything to do with tiie race, owing to dissensions.
