CRICKET.
FIRE BRIGADE OUT*. The annual meeting of Jjie Fire Brigade Club was held at the Central Staticn last night, Mr. W. Roch occupying blie chair. The following officers wero elected: President, Mr. F. (.'. Bellringer; vice-presidents, Messrs. A. Boon, J. Johnstone, J. Roberts, W. G. Malone, 0. Clark. (.'. Bishop, P. Mellvride, V, E. Bellringer. and .1. Scajidlyn. Mr. 13. Coppen's resignation was accepted with regret. Messrs. W. Roch, I'. Douglas, ami I!. Bullot were elected a Thursday committee. It was decided to enter a team for the Saturday competition, ar.il also a junior team in the Thursday competition. The subscription was fixed at ss. Mr. J. Way was elected delegate for the Saturday cricket.
