Aborigine' put in an appearance at Wanganui on Tuesday morning, and moved nicely over a couple of rounds at three-quarter pace. Sylvan Song, Waddy, and Bullyhe'ah have been withdrawn from the Maiden Hack Race.
Husbandman covered a mile comfortably in Lmin 47see, hitviiig jnchbonnv as a companion over the lust Jive fitvlongs. Jnebbonny is engaged in Hie Maiden Race.
All Red, Diabolo, and Taitoko, in company, have been galloping well on the Wanganui track. Crusinellu beat Irish Rifle over six furlongg in lmin IDsec, a good go, on Tuesday.
A two-year-old colt by Menschikoff - Armilla, which is a member of J. Pressor's stable, was given a run over four furlongs with Cloudy Morn, the youngster quickly asserting himself and passing the post three lengths ahead of his rivah The time recorded, 54sec, wasl very good, considering that a very strong wind was Wowing against the horses.
The Marton Jockey Club made a profit of close on a thousand pounds at their recent meeting. Of the boodle dispensed Mr. H. Eva caught £95 with Clemillin.
Tip-toe was showing tip-top form ?,t Hawera prior to being railed to Wanganui, where he will tackle open company. (tlenullin litis been nominated for the Wellington Racing Club and Pearee Handicaps at the forthcoming Wellington meeting. Uhlando is being reserved for the New Zealand Clip. The Hastings contingent for Wanganui is a particularly strong one, and includes Aborigine, Bcrengaria, Bollin, King Billy, Diamond Star, Erl King, Castiglione, and Cork (by Merriwee - Float).
