THE ATTEMPTED suicide case. By Telegraph.—l'rcss Association. Chiistdnircili, Last Night. Enquiries at the hospital to-day elicited tli« information that the young man, C. A. Briginton, who on Monday night attempted to commit suicide in Cramer Square, continues much in the same condition. Dr. Crooke thinks that there is a faint chance .that he will recover, seeing that he lias shown such vitality. A MAX KILLED. Dunetlin, Last Nig Tit. A wry strong wind prevailed on the Mnniototo Plains to-day, amounting at, times to a gale. At Ophir this afternoon a sod wall was blown down, falling on a man named John Cinnamon, who was working close by. His wife ran to his assistance, but ho died almost immediately.
