The newspapers commend Victoria's excellent display at the Grocers' Exhibition at Islington. ■Mr. Tavernor, Agent-General for Victoria, presiding at the inaugural dinner, urged that the establishment of an Imperial Council was indispensable to tile adoption of an Imperial policy. If the King visited Australia he wouid ■be received with enthusiasm that would never be forgotten.
