THE SALVATION ARMY. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. Brigadier Bray, of the sanation Army, has arrived in Wellington to take up his residence in New Zealand, lie has lieen appointed to take charge of all the Army men's social organisations in New Zealand. In this kind of work Drigndier Bray has been particularly successful for many years past in Australia, and in particular wilh the ! handling nf inebriates and reformatory boys. 11l New Zealand the Brigadier will have under his cure the Pakatoa Island inebriates' reformatory, (he Pri son Gate Homes, and Metropoles. This is the first time such an appointment baa been made in New Zealand. The Hrigadier is accompanied 'by Mrs. Bray, who took an active part in the severe pioneer work ot the Army in Australia when it was new and far from popular.
