Requisitions bearing over 6000 signatures have been presented to Mr. J. London asking him to contest a sent in the Liberal interest at tie general election. Mr London is conferring with friends in both Taieri and Bruce electorates and will probably arrive at a 1 decision in a few days. Members of the Lawrence Liberal Federation, along with delegates from Btaespiir and Ivans' Flat branches, selected Mr. A. W. Tyndalle, of Bluespur, M ft candidate for the Bruce seat. Auckland, Monday. Mr. J. W. ShackMord, Government wradidate for the Eden seat, addressed Us first meeting of electors at Avondale on Saturday. He expressed general approval of the present administration, and was accorded a vote of Hub.
