-Mr. N. Eccleston, of Kaponga, foreman of the Town lioard for three years and a-lia]f, bandmaster of the Kaponga Brass Itaad and Secretary of the Loyal Kaponga Lodge of Oddfellows, a member of the Kaponga cricket and "soccer" chilis, and a good all-round sport, is leaving for the Hastings district. Mr. 11. (Ikey, M.l\. airived from Wellington on Saturday evening. Captain Brown, instructor of mounted infantry in the Wellington district, went north on Saturday night. Mr. E. I'. Mowilfoi't, of Stratford, spent the week-end in New Plymouth.
