BOXING.
DUNIiDIN TOURNAMENT. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Dunedin, Last Night. At the Otago Boxing Association tournament to-night, Griffin (Canterbury) beat Fulton (Dunedin) in a sixround bout. This contest provided the best exhibition of boxing during the (evening, land after a very close go the judge's verdict went to the northerner. Heatley defeated Owens in the first round, the latter boxer's seconds throwing the towel into the ring. liegarty* (Timaru) did not put in an appearance. A. Ross was awarded the fight on forfeit. >Sannirs (Westport) lost the verdict to H. Ross (Dunedin) at the end of a six-round bout.
