i LADIES' TOURNAMENT. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The ladies' hockey tournament was continued this afternoon in very line weather and in the presence of a large number of spectators. The retirement of Canterbury at the beginning of the week rather upset the arrangements in the senior grade, and both Wairarapa A. and Nelson had byes to-day. Ilawkc's Bay' beat Wellington A. by 4 to 2, and Wairarapa B. beat Wellington B. by one to nil. In trie junior grade, Wellington B. beat Wanganui by 2 to nil; Wellington A, beat Horowhenua by one to nil, and Hawke's Bay had a bye.

DANNEVIRKE TOURXEV. Dannevirke, Last Night. The hockey tournament, for which seventeen teams had entered, was postponed to-day on account of bad weather.
