DISPOSING 01' THE LATEST BATCH I By Telegraph.—Press Association, Auckland, Last Night. Tiie officials of tlie Labor t'ureau are busily engaged in Attempting to place in situations those immigrants who arrived ill Auckland by the Oswestry Orange, and have applied to tire Bureau for assistance. Over 70 Immigrants have left the vessel 'here, and when the 179 people have lauded at ■Wellington from the Tonie with the intenlion of proceeding to Auckland, the city's population will liave been torn[loraraily increased by 250 during a period of toil days. The. Bureau received advices today that of the assisted passengers by the lonic .travelling to Aucklaml eight are farmers. There will he little difficulty in placing these men, for the demand for milkers and ploughmen is greater than the supply nt present.
