LINKING THE PACIFIC. Received 8, 0,55 a.m. Sydney, September 7. Ihi connection with the proposals to wirelcssly ]i';ik the Pacilic islands, the Australian representative of tin/ Amalgamated Poulsen Hadio Company, of London, states that negotiations are proceedings with the Governments of the various islands interested and that the Commonwealth and New Zealand Governments are favorably disposed, whilst tine various shipping companies have agreed to co-operate. Should the company receive sufficient support a start to instal the scheme will be mode in the new year. It will take twelve months to complete the work.
