Barraud jumped away with a lead of three at the fourth hole, when Duncan came up and at the sixteenth was level. The next two holes were halved and 10 was Jjlayed. Duncan tipped his drive. In spite of his splendid lecoveiy, Sue local man won the hole and the chauipionBhip. The ladies' championship was #on by Mrs. Bevan (Otaki) from Miss Uaa Williams (Wellington). The ladies' teams match residted in a tie between Wanderers and Otaki at 433, Wanderers winning in the playoff. The team consisted of Miss Beateon (Hastings), Misses Simpson and Stafford (Wellington) and Miss Biddeley (Kimbolton). 'Miss Wood (110—25—85) won the ladies' stroke handicap. P.McHardy and L. A. Abraham (81— 8—73) won the four-ball match. The meeting was a great success, lady Plunket presented the prizes at, a big gathering on the course.
