SWIMMING.
Paris, August 20. In the International scratch swimming race at Paris the 100 metres event was won by Meyboom, the Bolgian Champion, who beat Tartakoyer, of Sydney, by six inches. Time, 66 2-5 The 500 metres rare was won by Beaurepaire (Victoria), who beat Blitz, the Belgian by 75 yards. Time 7min, lsec.
