BREACHES 01-' AWARD!?. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night, At the Arbitration Court to-day, Thomas B. Baldwin claimed £3OO. from the Government as compensation for injuries. Tlhc question was wJietlwr the man should receive a lump sum or weekly payments. Medical evidence ivns heard, and an order made for payment of £1 4s per week. Win. Henry Bennett was fined £3 and costs tor a breach of the preference clause of thv| carpenters' award. A. E. Palmer m lined £2 and costs for employing a non-unionist when a unionist was' available. The Wellington Gas Co. was lined £2 and costs on a similar# chargu. Jas. Wilson, chajged with two breaches of preference clauses, was lined £2 and costs on each charge.
