Considerable discussion was evoked. The feeling was unanimous that an endeavor should be made to meet

The following motion was passed: — That in tile opinion 'of this committee it is desirable that a special general ■meeting of the New Zealand . ltugby Union should be convened to discuss the question of the proposed amendment of ltugby football, and that the necessary steps be taken by this committee to secure the co-operation of I two otli-er affiliated anions in having the meeting called. .
