It was'expected that the fifteen men would have got in some practice on Monday and Tuesday, but they did not all put in an appearance till last night.. The Tukapa' junior touring team re--0 turned home by last -night's express. Hie team.left New Plymouth on Monday, 10th inst., and travelled right through to Masterton the same day. A match -was to have been played at Masterton against the Red Stars', winners of the junior competition, but owing to ihv Wairorapa Union having altered the date of the junior reps.' tour, T!he match had to lie abandoned. (The Tukapas landed at Napier on •Thursday night and were met. by the members of the Kia Ora Club, whirfj team they met and defeated on Saturday by 6 to 3. In the evening the vis- . itors 'were sumptuously entertained at 1 a dinner. Next day they- were taken for a 25-mile drive into the country, and enjoyed t'lic outing. The Tukapa boys speak in tnost complimentary terms of the hospitality of the Kia

Ora's, -particularly praising the thoughtfulness and kindness of the secretary, Mr. Hunter. They are looking forward to returning the compliment next Easter, when Kia Ora will be returning the visit. "Hospitality like that," said ine of;'tire players, "will take a lot of returning, but I think'well give them a good time over here." With regard to our paragraph concerning the inclusion of Hooker in the Tukapa junior touring team, Mr. Moverly, secretary of the club, assures us that Kia Ora knew all about it,, the matter. having been mentioned in correspondence between the two clubs.
