guilty. Addressing the accused, his jionor said that she had no douut uuen guilty of bigamy. Alter referring to the serious aspects of the crime in certain circumstances, his llonor said that though in the present case the juiy nad properly loitnd tlimt tiie woman had acted recklessly and though there were uo suspicious circumstances connected with the second marriage ceremony, there appeared to have been some suggestion that her first husband dead. lie thought he would be giving full ellect to the recommendation ol the jury if he ordered accused to enter into her own cognisances to come up for sentence when caned on. Thomas Vickcry was indicted for that on May '2lst last in the Magistrate's Court at Oxford he comnuLtv.'d perjury. After a retirement of twenty minutes the jury returned with a verdict of '"not guilty, and the accusal was discharged.
