ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
A SUDDEN DEATH. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Dunedin, Last Night. I ill's. Cameron, wife of John O. Cameron, manager of the jewellery department of i). Benjamin and Co., died very suddenly this morning. Deceased, who has enjoyed the best of health, woke at an early iliour apparently in lior normal state and conversed cheerfully with her husband, but shortly after six o'clock complained of pains in the head. These increased in intensity, and, losing consciousness, she passed away before medical assistance could be summoned. There is reason to believe tlie cerebral ait'ection was the cause of death. Deceased leaves a family of live sons and two daughters. A FATAL JUMP. Auckland; Monday. W'lhilc endeavoring to alight from a swiftly-moving tranicar in I'pper Symonds street last evening, a young woman named Whiteleigh, aged about 22 voars (whose parents reside at Intfiilicld street.. Ponsonby), fell and deceived such severe injuries on the head that she died within four hours.
