Lovers of music are reminded of the organ recital to be given by Mr. 11. Neville Eenaud at St. Mary's Church toni"ht. The programme is published elsewhere in this issue, and promises a big musical treat. The entertainment to be given by the School girls at St. Mary's Hall to-morrow evening bids lair to be a successful function. The piece to be sia'gwl, "Tlie Princess," has been most successfully rehearsed. Twenty-two performers will take part, 'lhe entertainment will commence at 8 o'clock. Miss Hughes, a New Marnier, who has been actively employed for some years in promoting the no-license cause in Australia, is passing througih New Plymouth this morning. She speaks at' Stratford this evening and later in ihis town and elsewhere, as will appear in advertisement in due course. Miss ]lii«hes is under engagement with thi New Zealand Alliance, and is a very effective platform speaker.
