THE RAHOTU HALL.

To the Editor. Sir,—Have you ever heard of a hall committee that refused to forego one of its own little money-raising entertainments in an engagement of the hall by the ladies of the district for their annual ball? If not, then let me refer you to our hall committee it Rahotu. 1 am told that the hall committee has a euchre party fixed for the 28th instant, and that the ladies want the lull on the same night. The rule "ladies first" doesn't seem to apply in matters of this sort. The euchre party would do just as well a week earlier or a week later. The young ladies of the district, I understand, have almost unanimously decided to boycott the euchre party.—l am, etc.. RAIIOTO.
