His sufferings on the latter occasion were intense, and were made greater by the fur-1 that he had to pass through several field hospitals before he reached the base hospital at Durban, where an operation was performed that saved Tilt life.-' Mr. Bransgrove had an interest in ft diamond mine on the Rand, and he also posooaiitd a farm of some 2000 aeres in Uganda.
