The Trades Hall Council condemned the decision of the High Court regarding the Union label as against the spirit of constitution and inimical to the interests of the people. The Council asked that the Federal Parliament should .be clothed with powers ; to prevent its legislation being invalidated by a section of Judges of the High Court. VOLUNTEERS. Melbourne, August 8.
