CANADIAN BUSH FIRES.
A TOWN ENWRAPPED. INHABITANTS ENCAMPED ON THE PRAIRIE. Vancouver, August 4. On Saturday morning the fire appeared on the coastal mountains west of Fernie. Then the flames ran downwards and enwrapped the town. The six thousand inhabitants are now encamped on the prairie. Some of the buildings at Michel had to be dynamited to save the town.
The Government is relief to the sufferers.
