Mr. MeKenna replied that the Admiralty was satisfied ,t!iat the evolution ordered by Admiral Beresford would not have been dangerous, hut that Adniir.il -Scott was justified in turning his ship the other way, Mieving that the order involved a risk. Moreover, Admiral Heresford had informed Admiral Scjtt at Ithe time that his action was justified. The statement was received with eheers.
