Ills companion* dashed the liottle out of his hand, lie fell down and they carried him to tile nearest chemist, where an emetic was administered. Jiobinson is now in Uiie hospital, a fatal result having been averted.

A man named William Hannah, 7.'t ywirs of age, employed as a messenger at the I'arliament Buildings, was walking in his sleep at his lodgings during last night and fell from an upstairs window, lie was discovered by his fel-low-boarders, and a doctor was summoned. Hannah was taken to the hospital. It is understood his injuries aiv not very serious.
