He left tlie jury to decide whether Sievier had attempted to extort money within the meaning of tho Act. If Joel were seoking to obtain through Mills * promise from Sievier to abstain from publishing libels, then Sievier's acceptance of the money was not extorting. The jury acquitted Sievier.
