ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
FOUND DEAD. % Telegraph'—Press Association. , lnvercargill, Last Night. ' A man named James llaueock, who was in the habit of sleeping alone in a tent at Kapaku, where he worked, having an interest iu a (U.vniill, was found dead in his bunk this morning with the top of his head blown off anil a doublebarrel gun beside him. iiotli barre's were discharged, and a string was tied to the triggers. The man had suffered from hip disease, and it is understood that he had recently had depressing imports from the doctor. Deceased, who was about 33 years of age, liad invents and made an electric weed eradicator, and had just completed a successful trial of it. The police are making enquiries.
