FRANK. THORNTON'S FAREWELL TOUR.
After an absence of five years Mr. Frank Thornton, the popular London comedian, is once more amongst us. This time, however, will be a time to remember, for lie is on a farewell tour •of New Zealand and Australia. He retires after closing in Australia, therefore this is the last opportunity of seeing him on the local stage. He appears hero on Monday next. August 3rd, for one night only, in t4 The Private Secretary," one of the very best comedies that ha s ? ever bcun staged, ami, there should bo a packed house to again welcome him here, and later on to bid him farew.ll. which is certain to be classed with the most regrettable occurrences, for Mr. Thornton can ill be spared from the comedy,stage.
