Mr. I<'. tl. Morris, who has acted as custodian of the North Kgmont Mountain House for some time past, was last night appointed caretaker of the New Plymouth municipal saltwater balllis. Mr. Morris should be well suited for tlie, position. lie is an expert swimmer and water polo player, and he. has an aptitude for work and a happy knack of making friends and carrying out his duties well and without friction.
