ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
RUN OYER BY A TRAIN. By Telegraph,—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. Alexander Webster, believed to have been a shearer, was run over in Wellington to-night by the 8.30 train from Wellington to To Aro. Both legs were taken off and his right arm badlv crushed. He was removed to the hospital, where he died at 11 o'clock. The deceased was a married-man, about 3(1 years of age, and was a resident of P.toue. ACCIDENTALLY SHOT. Auckland, Fridav. ■J. M. Melville, solicitor, while shooting at Matakuhe, received a discharge »l shot from a companion's gun. Five grains lodged in 'his forehead, one just above the right eye. He was conveyed to a private hospital in Auckland.
