I lie Master of the .Rolls upheld the claim of the Great Western Kail way signalmen to submit to a -Conciliation Board the demands contained in the national programme prepared at the Birmingham conference. In consequence various hoards must meet to discuss the signalmen's demands. The demands include an eight hours' day, single hooking for a day's work; time and a-quarters' pay for overtime 011 week days, and time and a-half for Sundays; and an increase of wages to, those not- receiving 89 a day and in the case of the London workers. \
