The following team has been selected after a trial race to represent Australasia in .the Olympic Games swimming contests for the championship of the world : Reginald Baker (Sydney), Beaurepaire (Melbourne), Springfield (Queensland), and Tartakover (Sydney). In the 400 metres swimming event Cooke, (New South Wales) was beaten in his heat Beaurepaire won his heat in smm 49sec.
