Colonel Ellis moved a very hearty vote of thanks to Mr. Watson in recognition of his services to the club. He did not wonder at Mr. Watson retiring, for it was too much to ask any one man to do the amount of work which Mr. Watson had chimed to be his portion as chairman of the committee. He was extremely sorry that the committee was to lose Mr. Watson's services, but he could not Jilamc him for his decision.

Mr. Lepper seconded. The motion was put by the secretary, Mr. Fleetwood, and carried unanimous-

Mr. Watson replied in appropriate ierms.

A vote of thanks was accorded Mr. A. W. Budge for the many good services rendered to the club during the past few years. The usual compliments to the outgoing officers and to the chair concluded the business.
