He was a native of Kent, and liad lieen a resident of New Zealand for 4!) years. The old gentleman tail carried on t'lie business of market gardener at VojrcltJwit up till August, iflOfi, when he was admitted to the Home. The remains wili lie interred at Te Henni cemetery today, the funeral leaving the Home at II a.m.
