Old Age Pensions Bill until the Royal Commission on Poor Law has reported. T'hey declare the Bill alters the position of friendly societies, discourages thrift, and introduces a new system of outdoor relief, thereby threatening to revive the evils partially removed by law reforms o'f 1834.
