Court, twenty were ordered to be hound over by a security of £2O to keep the peace for a year, in default to undergo a month's imprisonment; live to he ' bound over by two sureties of £2O each to keep the peace for a year, in default three-months' imprisonment; and one to be bound over by a surety u{ £lO to keep the peace for Hix months. One was discharged. Lord Russell, in defending one of the accused, contended that their opinion! regarding the' franchise were tantamount to a religious belief, entitling ?-. them to imprisonment as first division uiisdeamants.
