CONFERENCES AT PALMEIiSTON X

A paper was read by Mr. Singleton. acting-Dairy Commissioner, and Mr. I. Peder-uu, dairy iiistiuctor. A meeting was held to form a \V«f Zealand dairy factory managers' association. There was a large attendance ol aianager* and a strong executive was Mt up. The annual meeting and dinner of the New Zealand Dairy Secretaries' Institute waa held this evening. There was a large attendance.
It was resolved to recommend to the Manawutu and Otago A. and • P. Societies to store exhibits in the various dairy factory co-Dp. stores the ollicers of such »tores to supply the Associations »ith a record of the temperature in which the exhibits are stored.
The Dairy Department also m-oni-mended to liave butter exhibit- analysed and analysis plain! Un cardi at the llrow.
A meeting of butter manufacturers was also held with a view to forming a new company to carry on this work in Wellington and llanawatu districts. It was resolved to obtain further inlurmatiOn on the matter.
